Named for Amparo Grange, the gracious hostess who presided over the Stags’ Leap Estate in the 1940’s and 50’s, this wine is the embodiment of the elegance and style for which Stags’ Leap Winery is known.

Aromas of honeysuckle following through to flavors of green apple and orange peel on the palate are characteristic of Stags’ Leap Chardonnay. The mid-palate is round with a creamy mouthfeel from aging on the lees and the finish has length that is complex yet crisp and balanced.

Opens with aromas of fresh peach, honeydew melon and meyer lemon. The palate is soft and balanced with concentrated flavors of tangerine, key lime, cantaloupe and candied ginger. The finish is long and crisp with lingering fruit and a touch of minerality.
